What's with every episode having an after school special style scene? We haven't seen much joy or friendly dynamics between the queens, so it's kind of off-putting that the bonding moments we do see are over somber subjects. It might just be editing, but I think there is a way to handle introducing yourself to people

They really over corrected some of their controversies. Really cool Pokémon like Porygon just stopped existing in the anime (Jynxx as well for that really disgusting black face they eventually fixed).

It should be said that if you compared Jaymes Mansfield to other queens who went home first or even lasted through other competitions, she's really amazing. There should be room in creative performance for introverts, and the bias in judging against that should be acknowledged and challenged. Isn't it a bit ironic in

Joslyn understood the camp angle. Kimora is literally just Kimora Lee! Like it only seems to be about being hot.

Only danger is it ends up being easy to accuse her of being fake or exaggerating things. If you're too American, you're trying to be white. If you lean into your culture, then you're playing it up or perpetuating stereotypes.

Well also on the podcast Ru was basically begging her to come on. He made a small cameo on The Comeback, so I think it was just kind of to say hey. I mean who cares? Her characters are iconic and why not?

The reality is that before this show, drag was not a "day time sport". It's really hard to make the makeup look flawless, especially for hours of filming and under hot, bright lights.

Definitely notice that amongst my friends as well. Growing up ESL in America lets me jump in an out the two languages and cultures, but for people who move here and learn the language later on generally can't do that. That's not a bad thing, but it can hurt you in the competition because you literally do anything

It's crazy how Valentina goes from being such a handsome guy to an amazingly beautiful woman. I love her really graphic make up, she almost looks like a cartoon, but not in a jokey way.

On Ru's podcast Lisa Kudrow talked about being reluctant to be on the show because she 1. Didn't want to judge the contestants and 2. She felt like any advice she could give about performance is the antithesis of drag (like being subtle, not too over the top, etc) which I think is fair. I have huuuuge love for Valerie

There was something about Michael that weighed down the show and slowed the action. He never properly folded in with Jane's mother and grandmother — so it always was almost like Jane was going back and forth between two families. That would have been fine if they addressed it, but it was just something that was there,

It had gotten a bit repetitive and boring. I understand they're going for real, but it has been episode after episode of Michael and Jane freaking out about money and their careers.

Well where does the story go if you keep Michael around? Yeah, you can follow their day-to-day climb through Jane's new job and Michael's schooling, but that gets extremely repetitive. Who wants to watch episodes on end of them bickering about who is more stressed, who is being unfair, etc.? Or the alternative being,

I actually feel really happy about this. With her relationship with Michael, I was becoming pretty annoyed with Jane as a character. I can get past her preachiness, but with Michael, they both reach a point where it was just a cycle of one or both of them being a ball of nerves, then the other dialing up the

The reunion was awkward. I'm not completely insensitive, but it felt really inappropriate to milk the thing with Adam's mom. The reunion was approximately 35 minutes (excluding commercials) and the first 12 minutes were Adam sobbing.
