Although not the same, there are some moments where I'm climbing into bed and I forgot to do some small little task. I'd stay up all night worrying about it if I didn't do that task.

Just attach the key to a keyring and the keyring to a carabiner. Far cheaper than any of the items listed in the article. Plus you can easily add a second, say a bike lock key, to it.

Why not put the key on a keychain (one of the little metal hoops) and attach that to a real carabiner? Much more secure if you use larger pieces of metal. How do I know? That's what I do.
