Topham hat is a cruel master
Don’t ask me silly questions
Come now! This is just the free market working as intended! Indeed, with less regulations, the market would have corrected itself even faster, because dead and crippled people can’t buy your products!
When I was a student on a very tight budget, I bought a brand new set of Wanli tires for my car. I had 7 punctures in one summer and by the end of the next summer the tire were short. That was the last time I bought a chinese tire. I have Michelin on my current car and those are the best tire I ever had.
Kurtz is my hero. I have never nor will I ever buy Goodyear tires. This disregard for public safety to make a dishonest profit needs to be elevated to a criminal act in the same manner that the diesel deception was.
This is the kind of investigative reporting that keeps me reading Jalopnik every day. Outstanding work.
You need to open with one good pun and allow everyone else to inflate your response count.
I’ll never get tired of making these puns.
I’m sure some of these unfortunate people suffered radial fractures as a result of Goodyear’s aggressive cover up and spinning of the story. The issue wasn’t that Daimler tore apart a competitor’s car - as stated, that’s been going on for decades. The issue here is that Daimler rented a vehicle, tore it apart, then put it back together. I’m pretty sure that’s against whatever rental agreement you get from any rental car company. What’s worse is that this…
Complete teardown and rebuild with suspect quality? Renting instead of buying? Massive depreciation of whatever they get their hands on? I guess there is still some Chrysler left at Mercedes Benz after all!
I don’t understand people who rent out their cars to strangers... I just don’t understand. And renting out a luxury car? Yeah..... No.
I’m mentally in too dark a place to be reading and responding to these articles, but right now I wish upon him, tenfold the hurt and humiliation she endured.
1. Not these days, happened all through history
So this clown is treating sexual assault like a kid would treat breaking something in their house and not telling their parents. WTF is wrong with people these days? We just keep hearing more and more stories like this and yet people don’t seem to learn anything.
