Yeah, no, basically I agree with you. The other potential problem here (though to be clear I don't think it's really what happened) is seeming like they think "people" disliking cops is a problem of equivalent seriousness to the ice cream or Boyle's absurd romance. Again, I think they succeeded in using both writing

I would say less a lecture and more a "hey, we're aware of this, you can continue to watch our show with less discomfort than you felt before!" At least in terms of what they were going for. What they accomplished, if anything, I think will take more time to become clear.

Man, I was cruising along, enjoying this episode of Cops Are Decent Fantasy, and then they went and got all real world on me. Generally speaking I think that's good—there are a lot of interesting stories that could come from it, and frankly it should be acknowledged; there have been plenty of times I've felt

Goddammit, I agree with everyone in this thread.

Honestly I'm just glad someone is arguing about this. Makes me feel young.

No, he is. I have no explanation either.

I knew you didn't mean anything particularly bad by it. I really don't know—all the Jews I know are either pretty secular or Reform (i.e. liberal). I mean, I'm the child of a Jew and a Catholic, SO.

He looked great at the Emmys too. I don't know if he's doing something different but he looks real good lately.

I mean, there are funeral homes out there, presumably for a reason.

I…just assumed it was a kind of Harold and Maude thing.

I keep wondering if I'm the only one who saw shades of Victor Pulak there.

God, how could I forget?

You might be right, but if so I don't remember either.

No, no, I like the other one better. (I mean, I love Terry. Just if any one character were to suddenly have to deal with their own clone, Rosa is actually an inspired choice.)

Now a Rosa/Diaz plot is something I'd like to see.

So many Dramatic Zooms. Some of them worked, but the sheer abundance meant they started to get distracting.

This is just good protocol. Guys in the audience should take notes. The only reason I'm alive today is that my dad saw my mom wasn't into it and left her alone, until a few months later she called him and asked him to the movies. If he'd kept after her there's no way she'd have ended up with him. (I speak as someone
