The answer doesn't actually matter. I just love the cutting ambiguity.

I went to high school with people who unironically dressed that way. Myself and my grungy friends made fun of it all the time. Seeing Camp Tigerclaw as a giant running joke is like coming home.
Honestly, I feel like dating Andy after dating Blake would have that effect on anybody.
I should have thought of this. I already finished a rewatch. Maybe…I should just…do…another one……
Food and also kitchen implements, but I think no actual cans.
I love it. It actually works out to Gene having a really lovely character arc (from repressed undercover to total wacko to "I am okay!") and his friend Mitch being really supportive in that journey. But we're still talking about a crazed veteran and a can of mixed vegetables. Sweet and funny!
can you IMAGINE Frankie's righteous freakout
oh my GOD what if he played identical twins each of whom Frankie and Grace started dating independently without knowing

reviewer's probably feeling real gelt-y about this mistake
LOVED that.
Sucks, doesn't it?
"BECAUSE I WANT TO! WHAT? I LIKE DOING STUFF LIKE THAT!!!"
He also looks really, really good with a beard, a development I did not see coming.
I'd kind of like to see him as a total hippie for Frankie to have a fling with, actually.

Ah. Even speaking as someone with mental illness(es) (the jury's out on a few counts) I don't think I have a response to this at this time that is really adding anything, but thank you for being open about your perspective; it's definitely an unusual one and I appreciate your sharing. I hope you no longer feel like a…
My question was because of the way you phrased your earlier comment, which sounded to me like you were saying trans people were delusional about their gender identities. If that were taken as given, then the idea that the best response to that dissonance would be transition wouldn't make sense, because it's feeding…
Ah. I would take that to be an illustration of how much Hannibal has disconnected himself from his actual physical circumstances. At least half, if not more, of the time we spend with him is either fully in his memory palace or a real-world interaction that he is re-setting as within one of his old environments…
What confuses me then is if you refuse to buy into the "mental illness" how is this the response? Like, if it's a "mental illness" whose assertions you refuse to believe in, how is the answer/treatment/etc transition instead of some kind of resettlement into the assigned-at-birth gender?
