Pfft... you kids. Try Howdy Doody, a kid’s puppet show that ran from 1947-1960. I grew up watching it in first run in the ‘50s, and that was over 60 years ago. Yes, I’m really that old.

Not only that, the fact that Harvey stalled out over Houston is directly attributable to climate change in that the winds which would have normally pushed it north weren’t functioning properly.

You can absolutely say that they were exacerbated by climate change. Hurricanes gain strength from warm ocean waters and the waters these hurricanes traveled over are significantly warmer than normal due to climate change. In fact, the oceans hold as much as 90% of the extra heat being trapped as a result of

It depends on how technical you want to get. The Tracey Ullman shorts premiered in the spring of ‘87, making The Simpson family older than the family trapped for eternity in The Full House by a few months.

To me 20 years ago was the 80's.

Agreed. Our indigenous population in Canada is basically crossing their arms and giving us a well-deserved “we told you so” look. Having lived in the areas for thousands of years, they know damn well that periodic burnings are necessary and that this shitstorm of hellfire is hugely exacerbated by non-indigenous

I think about this a lot, especially because it’s really hard to link any specific event to climate change which gives a false impression of plausible deniability to the public. For example, you can’t credibly say that these awful hurricanes were caused or exacerbated by climate change. But it’s pretty well agreed

GOOD! I rather be old than a kid these days

I often wonder what it will take for the world to realize how much worse their lives will be in a few decades if we do nothing about climate change. I think it will have to be a catastrophic, apocalyptic occurrence like in the Day After Tomorrow (horrible movie).

HILDI! They’re all back! I cannot wait for the return of Trading Places. I still laugh out loud when I think os that hay on the walls.... Hildi was the QUEEN deco-troll!

oh and it’s to pretend like there’s separation in the workspace even though there...isn’t because no one has an office or private spaces in offices anymore it’s all just open office death land.

When I worked a corporate job, being choked to death was strategic to my submission to a 40hr work week. Wouldn’t have been able to do it otherwise.

You must be a true optimist!
