I kind of admire that built-in identity though. To know — without any doubt — where you’re from and what you’re supposed to look like would be comforting, I think. Oppressive at times, but comforting.

I think that so many younger people are at the point where our culture of immediacy has effectively stymied our ability to understand that public policy is a long journey towards the ideal.

Well, I have to give credit to one of the most conservative countries in the world making at least this much progress on the issue. Divorce was entirely illegal until a little over a decade ago. Hopefully expanding access to abortion won’t take another few decades.

Vinny & Ma Eat America

The only one I liked was Vinny...at first. He seemed somewhat intelligent and less obnoxious than the others. Then he got on board the GTL train with the tacky ass fools and that was it for me.
