Toyota sort of stated that Tacomas are largely off-road toys when they justified rear drum brakes over rear disc brakes on the previous gen. One marketing guy said something along the lines of, ‘rear discs are mostly useful for towing and that’s not a priority for our buyers.’ The other claim was that drums are better

Probably would have cost them millions to not include them. Those are just to eek out some MPG’s. Same reason the last gen Tacoma TRD Pro came stock on all-season tires. Gotta meet the requirements or get hit with penalties.

Another ungainly sedan with an exposed trunk hits the market....  So what?

Now you Jalops better effing buy the manuals!

I hate that trucks are getting bigger but kudos to Toyota for all the manuals. Now you Jalops better effing buy the manuals!

Why are we getting bigger and beefier. That is what the Tundra is for. Fuck Trump

So $33k for the cheapest manual? No required packages/options?

I used to play it on my tablet with a controller and ot made the game great. A console release would have made them a fortune

I’m not sure that it makes sense to put games like Natural Selection 2 on the list. Just because a game is no longer getting content updates doesn’t mean the game is dead or unsupported. Just that no new features are coming in......

So basically it’s like how every game used to be before games as a service took off.

Ironically a game everyone was sleeping on

Pokemon Sleep: ... ... ... lives!!!

Whales.

I paid $10 to check out Crimesight this weekend, long story, needed a distraction. I don’t like social games and the single player, bot only tutorials feel like they have enough replay value that if Konami’s dev team would have spent the 10-15 minutes to set the game so that the online component was dead but you could

Some of this seems like it may have been discoverability issues. I follow games press fairly closely and some of these games I have never even heard of.

If GaaSes are the future of gaming, then the gaming can fuck right off.

Or squad based shooter. Or shooter in general.

FFVII: First Soldier should’ve definitely had a PC and Console release. The game was legitimately fun but was severely hindered by being limited to mobile. The limited screen size and touch controls hurt the overall experience. Around launch, Square even said they were going out of their way to prevent people

Is the F2P mobile game bubble finally popping?

If any Spellbreak devs just happen to see this: I was super interested in the elemental spell combat, but have zero interest in the Battle Royale genre.

This is why they go with these free-to-play Battle Royale games; the path has proven success and the scope of the game is much smaller than most games. If they miss, it’s way less of a blow than missing on some huge single-player project.

It’s a hits business after all!
