Anyway, I look forward to Ford being bored in a handful of MCU movies.

I believe you’ll find the vast majority of responses to your question will be “No.”

I like to imagine there’s a timeline when they didn’t acquire ThinkGeek. I miss that store before Gamestop got it.

Gamestop doesn’t even allow me to pre-order physical games for store pickup anymore unless I do it in person. I like to pick up games on release day but I don’t want to have to go into the store just to pre-order them so I have switched to BestBuy.

It’s been awhile since I’ve drank a beer in the shower, but it HAS happened in my past. lol

Executives are just throwing everything at the wall until that GME/WSB money dries up and they have to face the reality that the company still doesn’t have a functional business plan despite retail meme investors saving their asses and giving them years to figure out a strategy.

Have you been to a Gamestop lately? I picked up groceries and some power steering fluid while looking for some Splatoon Amiibo reissues the other day.

In a world where stuff like LTT exists and is very transparent about the massive amount of effort and energy and money that goes into making a current channel that produces relevant content-- particularly in a newer medium where content is being released every second of the day-- the idea that G4 was going to succeed

He also found out G4 shut down by logging into Twitter. Life be weird like that.

All I saw of the new G4 was the clip where Xavier Woods finds out live on air about the mass WWE wrestler firing. His reaction is priceless.

Literally the only thing I’ve ever heard about the new G4 is that on the very first episode the host launched into a deranged hour-long sales pitch trying to get viewers to buy into a crypto ponzi scheme.

Sucks for G4 but the company totally went in such a weird direction that it was going to fail when they started. Instead of building all of G4 back from the ground, it should have just been a few talking heads instead of the kind of “hey we have a show for TV that doesn’t air because there’s no where to air it on top

Hope those losing their jobs at least get whatever pay they’re owed and some form of redundancy comp given the times we’re living through.

If you’re ever in TJ Maxx or Homegoods, check their kitchenware section. I’ve found Calphalon hard-anodized and stainless steel cookware there for cheap. I’ve basically got a full set of the Calphalon signature series at this point, and I don’t think I paid more than $25 for any single piece. No need to pay

Just be aware that you could be replacing old, “good” Craftsman tools for the remarkably lower-quality new tools. Still, a broken made-in-US wrench is not as good as a functional Chinese-made wrench.

My dad does this with brake pads. You might think there’s no way they sell a product designed to wear out over time with a lifetime warranty, but it’s a thing.

I managed to crack a 17mm socket a long time ago and brought it into Sears (when they still owned the brand) for a replacement. I can’t remember how I cracked it (too much torque removing a subframe possibly?) but it surprised me nonetheless lol. Go figure I lost the replacement sometime later, but it was nice being

My dad is a mechanic by trade, so he obviously uses his tools a lot. When I was a kid he’d save up his broken Craftsmen tools, and once or twice a year I’d go with him to Sears when he plopped his big bag of busted tools on the counter, and the sales staff let him walk around and replace every individual item for no

Calphalon cookware

I had an old Craftsman ratcheting wrench that was not at Lowes (now that Lowes has taken over Craftsman). I looked online and found Craftsman support. Contacted them and they sent me a new wrench for nothing!
