Yo I legit thought she was dead for a second. I was like “damn, the MCU is going in on the unexpectedly brutal deaths lately.”
It seems pretty clear that Muneeba’s mother was involved in some cosmic stuff. What’s yet to be seen is if Muneeba really thinks her mom was crazy regarding the stuff she talked about, or if she’s more concerned with Kamala following her grandmother’s path.
Muneeba obviously has some history with the bangle in regards to her own mother. I think you’ll see that come full circle. That said, I didn’t take her words quite as harshly as you did.
Learning to drive in Virginia, they’d take us out three at a time and we’d tag out. First day of driving the kid in my trio who drove first was bragging about how good he was at driving already and crashed into the instructor’s car pulling out of the parking lot, swear to god.
As much as I liked this episode, that Antman helmet scene was so hilariously awkward to watch for me. Not just how unrealistic its movement was, but like I think people would realize there is a massive head smashing through stuff a couple of meters from them?
It’s part and parcel of the Katie Rife-style reviews which are pretty core to AVC LA, where the review is mainly a plot summary annotated with cultural grievances and/or thumbs ups. Weirdly, that style spoils movies/shows that the reviewer likes harder than it does things that they don’t. And most of the freelance…
Because a review is suppose to tell you about something and if it’s good or not(based on the writer perspective). Do you spend $60 on a video game and then read the rest row to know if it’s good or not?
Sorry its such a minor detail that people outside of NJ may not know but they do not do road tests on the road with everyone else. The have road testing centers that are closed courses. She would of most likely have gone to Lodi or Newark. No way she would of hit a car unless she screwed up really bad and went out of…
It really seems like these are meant for people who didn’t watch the show but want to pretend they did
yeah, sometimes we can’t blame shows for how scenes of groups are with covid protocols. And standards change state to state, so some shows might have more freedom.
This is titled a ‘recap’; I don’t think the aim is to produce something for people to read before watching.
They really held back with the teasers. The whole episode was so rich and inventive. All the animated marginalia and cutaways felt like living in the comics’ visual style, and every beat was so full of Kamala’s inner and outer lives. They have something really special. It’s a delight to see the characters and Jersey…
Yeah, that seems to be a increasing problem with the writers here.
the under-populated school thing has to be covid protocols right? picked their battles with the avengers-con feeling more full (and yet still felt like it was in a tiny garage and not a warehouse or convention centre)
Right? It wasn’t even really round. I kept thinking that it would come to a rest after smashing through several booths, but whatever lunatic cosmic mystery force that was propelling it across the entire convention seemed to only cause it to gain speed upon encountering resistance.
Okay pro-tip. Maybe review more and summarize less. I got half way through this and was like “okay I can’t read anymore of this or the whole episode will be spoiled”.
Do we know Thor is a gamer? I thought he just talked shit to kids for Korg.
Also why did that Ant-Man helmet have so much momentum lmfaoo
- Kamala suspects that Thor is a gamer, which he is.
- Her school seems to be massively under-populated. Especially since she lives in, or near, Jersey City.
- Love her bike helmet.
- Loving the special effect use to show what’s going on in her head, the texting, etc... Really imaginative and well done.
- Kamala’s…
