I’m honestly surprised that William doesn’t understand the motivations at play here. Renslayer’s is based in practically no character change on her part, making her easiest to understand. She just wants to restore the pecking order, like you said.

Gave that Wiki page a look, and the common thread I see is that Activision acquired those studios by the time they had the licenses to publish those games. Like if you look at the X-Men, practically all of the developers were acquired by Acti before those studios started down the path you’re talking about. That trend…
God I enjoyed that movie way more than I thought
In fairness, I think the people who stay are here for the comment section.
I understand that, but I’m just commenting on the category listed as Reviews when that’s not what this is. It’s fine if they want to recap instead, just headline it accordingly.
I’m sick of calling these “reviews” at all. Why are they not just labeled recaps?
I think they’re referring to the Maverick
Blown away that this is the uncensored T.I. track from such a candidate, bizarre considering the base
I agree with you. We often make the mistake of identifying with our thoughts, when the reality is that they are too fluid to truly represent our values. What matters are our choices, including what thoughts we choose to voice.
As jingoistic as the original Modern Warfare games were, the new ones feel so hollow that I can’t tell if IW actually enjoys making them anymore. All of the attempts at “DEI” in a military war sim just feel so artificial, and that doesn’t help when your writing is already so contrived. I don’t understand how anyone is…
I have been arguing that same reality recently. Follow the money and you realize the business model post-Netflix Originals is broken. It’s as if these companies opened up all-you-can-drink bars with a cover fee and people wonder why some beers get taken off tap.
I feel really mixed on this show. I think it has some great ideas for plotting, but the execution sometimes feels rushed or just outright sloppy. It reminds me of the shift in most series that start on streaming, in which the length is far shorter than that of traditional network TV. Were this an old school 13-26…
At first read I thought you were making a joke. But a serious high comment is also absurd in its own way.
On this we absolutely agree. The issue wasn’t the plot point, it was how the story got there.
Even if it wasn’t exactly accurate, its inclusion contributes to the tone of the scene and film. Getting those details right is obviously preferred in a historical drama like this, but I already assume they stretch the truth in films of any type - even documentaries.
That line jumped out at me, as well. Always nice when the actors bring something to their character that makes them feel more lived in, even for single scenes.
I honestly think I prefer that. While Pepper may have known what was going on most of the time, it’s way more entertaining that she was just...totally disconnected, cuz she’s a busy bosslady running Tony’s shit.
Yeah that was a joke if that wasn’t clear
Honestly...a Razer-esque eGPU dock situation would probably sell. A refreshed pad is great and all but the battery, like you said, is what people care about there. For power, having a dock “booster” of sorts would be pretty sweet, and there’s obviously technological precedent out now.
Can’t wait to see Spider-Man 2 (2004) pop up on Game Pass
