Buying an Xbox and building a new PC...the temptation is strong with this one.
This guy’s asking all the right questions.
There’s only one irrational explanation here.
This. People forget that – due to the nature of corporations – the profit margins aren’t just for padding the pockets of fat cats at the top. It’s the growth that allows the company to take risks on new projects in the first place, and if the executives can’t see that growth, neither will their respective teams.
I met my mentor at my best friend’s 14th birthday party – let’s call him William. He seemed like any other old person at the time, so I didn’t pay him much mind when I saw him again at our group graduation party in high school. Like many a teenager, I found more value in my peers than my counsel.
This.
Great response. Only issue with not asking the question though is that the online community (both cosplayer and non-cosplayer alike) has no voice outside of the establishment.
In the show, the antagonist is “groupthink” a la 1984. Regardless of whether society wants to vote for social change or tar-and-feather a scapegoat, the voice of the individual is drowned out, and that’s the fundamental problem that the true hero of the show (Hajime) attempts to overcome.

Hey Richard,
Raimi’s Spiderman 2 is hands-down one of the best superhero films ever made. Nearly everything about that movie was perfect (spoilers naturally, but really - how has anyone not seen this already?):
I shall be gifting Cowboy Bebop to my folks this year, since they’re Firefly fans and the old man likes Akira (which he received last year on Blu-ray). With baby bro’s growing Ghibli collection thanks to your truly, the Froman brood will be otakufied in no time.

All I want is Catan. Why isn’t anyone discounting Catan? I need this Catan.

Oh, where to begin.
I totally appreciate your contention. The portrayal of their dynamic is different from the source material. Zod IS a conqueror, and that made him a perfect contrast with Superman’s peaceful demeanor over the years.
As a huge fan of the Diniverse, I see your contention with Snyder-Supes. Man of Steel feels almost iconoclastic in its deconstruction of Superman–and fails to capture Clark’s status as galactic paragon for good.
