Boston > NYC

Loved my time in the Boston area, the history and the layout just clicked for me. My trip to the Big Apple last year just made me want to get out a.s.a.p.

I'm hoping this is the case. As you highlighted, the main problem most Kickstarter projects have is that their ideas are untested due to a lack of a prototype. In the world of investing, these guys would be much more likely to get a VCs attention than any other joe with grand machinations for their product.

I would actually argue that the spirit of the phrasing could be preserved, as demonstrated in the manga/anime.

Ahhhh X Play. The only game show that didn't seem to mock my intelligence because I'm a gamer. RIP TechTV.

A pretty little thing touching me while I'm playing a game? Nonsense.

While the focus of this branding effort might be APAC, it will likely bleed over into Western markets which have their own social stigmas regarding teenagers and how they express themselves physically. So to the average American viewer, short skirts on an animated cartoon character may actually be creepy.

I'm not really interested in debating the semantics of message boards, since I can clearly see the point behind their comments. What matters is that both publishers have their own approaches to IP management, and while some tactics leave us scratching our heads, others often line up with the desires of the market. As l

That's worrying...I'm simply looking for Pokemon Stadium graphics on the go, with the elements I loved from Pokemon Silver (my last full game experience).

I would argue that Nintendo's games don't go unnoticed either, but sometimes the reason is what you seem to be highlighting: the noticeable lack of variation in the experience. The New Super Mario Bros. series comes to mind, though I only have the one on Wii.

I think TinyKing and Archaois are simply observing the differing attitudes between Nintendo and Sony. The Big N has strong recognizable franchises, each with a particular formula that allows for a certain amount of variation. Whether there's a change in perspective, art style, game mechanic, etc. there is always a

I beg to differ. There's a reason we call him "The King of Monsters."

Good call. PirateBay and Vuze it is.

I'll keep digging for that one. Not sure where I'll watch it, may have to pick up the Blu-ray set to get a chance to see it. Thanks for the recommend.

The last few episodes were pretty serious, I'll give you that. In my opinion, the best parts of this show were the early events of absolute comedic absurdity when the world was still a mystery. Loved the art style, the ecchi stuff was nicely understated, and other than Simon early on, the cast was totally watchable.

It's not a bad strategy, though. As a developer, their financial goals are likely long-term anyway, since their cash flow likely won't rival a AAA title. To attain continuous revenue, they must either a) market the game effectively and continuously overtime, almost reinventing its image as the game evolves, thus

Literally just finished marathoning this until 4am, and I gotta ask...what's the hype about, exactly? Overall I enjoyed myself, but I think I missed the worship train when it first released.

Hold onto that Gamepad, it's gonna be a wild ride.

While the nagging does get old - especially when you can always revisit Metroid Prime 3 or the whole trilogy on Wii - I just can't get excited for a new Zelda already. Skyward Sword came out two years ago, and there are other franchises in the Nintendo stable that are not being tapped as often or as effectively as

Nintendo needs to take a hint from their last Donkey Kong title and return to the glory days already.

Now playing

That's because Coke and Pepsi taste the same. Unless you're a spokesperson.
