I hate the LVCVA for this. It would have been cheaper and much less stupid to just extend the Monorail go to the airport. I blame the pandering to the taxi companies too, since they are the reason it didn’t go there when it was first built.

Surprised those walls aren’t full of ads.

Nah, sorry. Genesis is the worst. By an order of magnitude.

You think that’s bad? You can get the potentially deadly C. Difficile from touching the drive mode knob. And that’s when you already have an STI!

Same thing is happening here. Cops got so offended that people dared to be upset with them for murdering George Floyd that they began refusing to do their jobs to teach us a lesson. People street race all over and every night it sounds like I’m trackside at the SCCA Runoffs. It’s getting old.

Ever since our mayor (Breed) talked about defunding the police (actually diverting money from them to programs better suited to dealing with people having a mental break or overdose. All the cops know how to do is administer lead).

So, now the cops (who can easily make over $400k with OT) don’t do anything, ever.

Because cops are more likely to be in the takeover than to stop it? Dirtbags support dirtbag things.

Not sure how “Cop kills 7 and injures 6 more plowing into a group of dirtbike riders at a street takeover” hasn’t been a headline yet.

How about getting a young FBI agent with blonde hair and a nice smile to go undercover to infiltrate the local scene of outlaw drivers? Maybe he gets a job at a parts store that sells NOS cylinders and intakes?

Reminds me of Ned Flanders’ parents:  We’ve tried nothing and we’re all out of ideas!

That and most of the people who own these are usually raging assholes who probably will vote for Trump, watch Fox news, and are your typically unremarkable, un-interesting, un-creative, cookie cutter angry old white dude.”

None, because even a cookie-cutter tri-five Chevy is lightyears more interesting than the greyscale jellybean crossovers that make up modern traffic.

How do you know a given owner did that for their car? How do you know if any other classic owner didn’t? Seems like a weird prejudice to me as someone who did fully restore an early ‘65 Mustang.

I have a long list of cars I don’t want to see any more at car shows, but top of the list is the first generation Mustang:

Daniel may have intended to mean the first plug-in hybrid with such a high revving engine, rather than the engine itself being the first to rev to 10,000 RPM.

I actually disagree - electric torque fill in a full-stop, don’t care about cost performance application makes a lot of sense, because turbos can be sized more naturally for peak HP, rather than the usual compromise of lag vs top-end. Additionally, the electric motors can allow amazing off-the-line traction and

It’s also going to scream rock chips and cracked windshields when those S5s are flinging rocks like rooster tails since it has no rear fenders. Your supercar buddies are going to make drive at the back of the line.

Lambo buyers care about the attention more than the performance — and those that don’t care quickly realize that Lambo is in the business of selling attention, not cars.

I highly doubt those two will be cross-shopped that often.

I know that 800 hp 4.0 twin-turbo V8 produced by Lamborghini Temerario is really amazing since on paper it’s on par with 4.0 twin-turbo V8 from McLaren Senna and Ferrari SF90 yet Temerario cost much more cheaper that both Senna and SF90 (if you think $300,000 is cheap though)
