The link associated with the word “complicated” is one of the rare ones on a current-era Jalopnik article that actually links to something relevant: https://jalopnik.com/viral-tiktok-video-shows-how-complicated-it-is-to-jumps-1851169346
If only there was a way to open a lock without electricity...
There’s a manual switch in the driver’s side armrest there’s a manual switch in the drivers side armrest but that won’t help if you’re locked out but that won’t help if you’re locked out.
So wait... what’s the process for getting into your Tesla if the 12v battery dies?
Meh, it’s like a 911. They’re all evolutions of the previous ones, not revolutions. It makes them fairly timeless, because in the old ones you see elements of the new one, and vice versa.
So in order to provide owners with the best possible view of their needles’ sweep, Bugatti has designed a fixed hub steering wheel, the spokes of which connect to the column behind the “skeletonized cluster.”
No one is going to confuse it with a Honda Civic in person. lol
I’d imagine the insurance is quick to total a car that’s even had a small engine fire.
You going to touch that hood?
That are not wrong. Boeing should be out of business. I don’t care how important they are for NASA and the Pentagon. If my Lehman Brothers can disappear, so can this enterprise. And last I checked, the house of Lehman didn’t kill anyone.
Boeing counter-offers with flight vouchers good for the next 18 months.
Toyota really wanted the crown for hottest hatch.
You are going to have to clarify which one you are talking about. Genesis has shown off multiple concepts that fit the description, all of which seemed more likely to see production than the Tesla roadster
I don’t think it was about tires being mounted, maybe it was, but IIRC it was something to do with the wheels only being “good” for a certain number of miles before needing to be replaced. Everything about the maintenance on a Veyron was CRAZY expensive, but like they say if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.
Originally, you had to replace the wheels too, as the Michelin PAX system could only have tires mounted once or some such. Sounds like that has changed.
I think they are still expensive, but IIRC the price has gone down. Looking at tirerack, for what it’s worth, a set looks to be about $5k for front and rears. Then again, you replace Bugatti tires due to age rather than wear since they get driven so little lol.
Didn’t Musk also tweet that the Cybertruck would float?
I really want Hyundai/Genesis to beat it to the punch and actually put their roadster concept into production. That thing looked jaw-dropping.
Er - the sort of tires fitted to Bugattis and other hypercars that can go 250mph+? Not like THAT is all that unusual these days for Billionaire’s wheeled codpieces. IIRC, they cost $50K+ per set, but whatevs, the billionaire set has money to burn.
