Other than the acylamide issue, why not simply change the name? That’s not exactly uncommon for multinational food products. Call them Chesters or soemthing idk.

Yep, since the NHTSA recalls include any kind of repair, even OTA updates to fix a problem. I get the logic to an extent but it’s not remotely on the same level as, say, Kona’s catching on fire.
