How long have you had it? I heard Benq’s are great but can have longevity issues. I almost went with a 4k Benq but went for a Predator instead. Even with Gsync on and a 1080 I still have the occasional issue with screen tear which is annoying for a $600 monitor.

I presume it’s gross as in large or total, i.e. gross weight, not gross as in disgusting. The total definition makes sense given it’s a combination of 2 (or 4, depending on how you want to look at it) pokemon.
I see what you were trying to do there but it doesn’t really work. Really, it just reinforces rabbit’s assertion.
Oh man, I think it’s time to reread Bone... again.
I don’t know what to tell you but this is straight from the Texas Labor Code and it has been in effect since 1993.
By the way, I looked into it. Pay periods are regulated by state law in the US. Many states do not allow monthly pay periods unless specifically approved by the labor commissioner and require at least two paydays a month. In Texas, where I reside, monthly pay is only allowed for employees who are exempt from overtime…
The monthly checks were a stipend as part of their graduate program scholarship. It was to allow and encourage them to focus on school and not look for employment while they were in the program. Those instances were not jobs or careers that paid on a monthly basis. I maintain that I’ve never personally known anybody…
I’m in my 30's and have both a degree and a “real” 9 to 5 (actually, 7:30 to 5:30 if you want to be technical). I have had quite a few jobs since I was 16 and have personally never known anybody to be paid monthly except for friends who went to grad school.
Really? Is a monthly paycheck really a common thing? I’ve personally only seen it as part of graduate programs. Every job I’ve had has paid weekly or every other week. And, of course, your first check only comes after the end of the first pay period you worked. Not even signing bonuses are fulfilled up front, I…

That is exactly how it works. Same concept as a live usb (which is a great way to sample different linux flavors without committing to anything) just a different medium. Live booting from an external drive has been around for years. The boot happens at the bios level and doesn’t affect your main drive whatsoever. Like…
And it’s illegal to block sidewalks in some places, though only enforced when cops are bored or have quotas to meet.
How is this even a debate? Cool Ranch hands down, everybody else is objectively wrong.
I also tried this the other day after seeing it at the grocery store and saying “eh, why not?”. Same one, the “original dew.” I personally couldn’t tell a difference except for the packaging.
I am 31 and had no idea this was a meme, though when I opened the article and saw it I immediately went “oh, Jeremiah Johnson”
Re: Kelly Slater:
I live in Houston and I know the area very well but if I’m going somewhere more than 15 minutes away I will pull up google maps purely to check the traffic and see if I should take a different route than I normally would. Just saying that google maps can be very handy even if you know where you are going.
Yeah, I would replace Escaflowne with Gurren Lagann. NGE and GL are even both by Gainax and I believe have some shared staff between them.
