Yes, there are numerous buttons... But look at the way the tablet is set out - you don't have access to those buttons unless you take your hands off the sticks - or alternatively use the buttons AND the sticks, which the PSP proved time and again is THE.WORST.CONTROL.SCHEME.EVER.
