That would be cool, but with it being a throwback to the 70s Opel GT, I don’t think that will happen (assuming it actually goes into production that is). The BIG engine in that thing was a 1.9L that made 102hp at its best. The later 1.9s only made 87hp. You could actually get the thing with a 1.1L that made <70hp too.…

Took some bicep, but I agree. Those headlights may very well have been the best part about that car.

This is neither platform. Those chassis are designed to handle 500+ lb-ft of torque and would be severely over-designed for a car with 143hp. The chassis alone on those cars probably exceed 1000kg.

It looks like a Camaro doing it’s best impression of a balloon.
