I’m not saying that I believe he is innocent, but universities do get it wrong, particularly when they are under scrutiny for mishandling rape. Anybody remember Jordan Johnson, the star quarterback at the University of Montana who was accused of rape? He was immediately expelled from the university (who was under

I don’t doubt that, but most people commenting here would convict on a woman’s word alone, so that doesn’t hold a lot of weight to me.

It’s very possible he raped her, but if the attorney’s statements are correct, and without any other evidence that we might be unaware of, while the fact she reached back out to him later that night doesn’t prove he didn’t rape her earlier, it’s at least a piece of evidence in his favor. Again, that’s without any

Not tipping over bad service is totally acceptable to me. Just as a server wouldn’t complain when they receive an amazing tip for a job well done. Don’t like it, don’t be a server. If you get stiffed enough you still wind up with minimum wage.

You know, in some parts of Europe (Germany, Spain for example) servers will actually get offended if you tip them more than just rounding up to the next full Euro amount because they’re paid a LIVING WAGE in the first place. To tip them implies you think they serve a menial purpose and need your handout. Why the hell

If you get horrible service when going out for dinner it's perfectly fine to not tip. That doesn't mean if your drinks aren't refilled in a timely matter you stiff the server but if it's bad service from beginning to end, then it's perfectly fine to not tip someone. Also, F tip jars.

At this point, if you still go to these things then you’re getting what you pay for. The concept of waking up to a carrot in my ass and my nut hair burnt off isn’t appealing to me in the slightest, so guess what? I avoided these frat fucks like the plague. My ass remains carrot free as a result.

You missed the part about the on campus posters being put up AFTER the basketball team made and wore T-shirts supporting their friend and captian who just mysteriously left Yale 2 months before he was to graduate didn’t you.

Watch the clip. He clearly says he’s in London. Adele gets in and says she’s in London. They drive round London. It wouldn’t have taken that long to watch and learn, would it?

As in “watshmata?”?

“Please tell me how someone gets expelled from Yale with no investigation.”

My comments plainly work. And they work considerably better than the nonsensical non-process Yale is using to deal with such matters.

Probably the guy they considered a “brother,” and not some tribunal made up of people they've never met and have never spoken to?

So kind of like a “presumption of guilt?” I like it.

Eh an answer between the two would be “The university mysteriously dismissed my teammate, no detail or facts were given, but now, a few weeks later, credible rumors have informed us of what he did and we no longer support him.” The “Stop supporting rapist” signs were distasteful and more fitting to a witch hunt than

I mean, it doesn’t matter if you’re a Yale student or not. In that situation, you very often believe your friend. This is the crux of the problem.

What’s a crock of shit is that posters were put up all over campus demanding that the basketball team “stop supporting a rapist,” when there is no basis in fact to suggest that the student in question is a rapist, his expulsion from the university notwithstanding. What folderal.

Pretty much all of my female friends and relatives voted for Bernie too, so I wouldn’t be too quick to pin it on sexism.

Care to extrapolate?

I’ll hang out with you in the HEY BUT MAYBE HE’LL WIN! club. I think we’re pretty cool.
