It is worth noting Black people are 3% of the UK population as opposed to 17% in the US.

Perhaps the OP didn’t consider that when these men were in their 20s they weren’t considered husband/father material because they weren’t financially stable? These men may have laboured under the belief that no-one would give them a chance unless they were making $x a year or lived in an apartment in x location. So

When they were in their mid to late 20s those same women wouldn’t have given them the time of day because they weren’t ‘stable’ enough to consider having children with.

I just meant we’re starting to hit the milestones. I believe the brain is still developing until the early 30s. We expect people to make important, life-changing decisions way before then. I don’t know why marriage shouldn’t be looked at the same way.

I married at 23 and we’re managing just fine, thank you very much :p

I’ve never known anyone refer to the idea of death as boring. Or being in your 20s. And most concepts that can be summarized with OMG aren’t boring either.

I’ll be honest, I was only basing my comment on my perception of America because all the frivolous lawsuits seem to come from there, but I did quickly google a link:

This would be true if either a) America was significantly less violent than the rest of the developed world or b) America was significantly less litigious than the rest of the developed world.

The phrase doing the rounds in British media is that these were analogue criminals in a digital world. The planning was flawless, the execution was excellent and the aftermath was an absolute disaster. They didn’t ditch their clothes, tools, phones or computers as they weren’t aware how easily these could be tracked.

I’m afraid they’ve rebooted Teletubbies.

For my kids, they have Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly, Fireman Sam, Bob the Builder etc

DM and Count Duckula were both British cartoons, so I don’t know how they were shown in the US. iirc, one was BBC, the other was ITV? Both popular in the mid-late 80s.

I’ll see your inferior cartoon selection and raise you the obviously superior Transformers, Spiderman, Count Duckula and Bananaman.

Wait, you don’t have Saturday morning cartoons? What kind of dystopian hell do you live in?!

Yeah, that’s the best bit though. He does not care at all which of the multimillionaires he’s upsetting. Some take the joke well (see Johnny Depp’s cameo on life is short) and some not so well.

Yeah, I should have read further before posting.

Are you denying the Bruce Jenner existed? Or that the person now known as Caitlyn Jenner was known as Bruce until she changed her name? Whether it’s funny or not it is logically accurate. Caitlyn Jenner hasn’t changed shit.

Ingroup humour in Britain is pretty much endlessly roasting each other. My Dad used to help out at a mate’s garage and there was a guy with learning difficulties who would come over and help from time to time. First thing they would say to him would always be something along the lines of “Oh, not this thick twat

Watch Life is Short. Or just google Liam Neeson’s scene in it.
