The story of the Golem includes a rabbi who knows exactly what he is doing…
Because if you wore those when I was a kid, the social death you suffered would have been preceded by a severe beating and the loss of the shoes. Which if they cost almost a hundred dollars would have meant another beating at home. But they are pretty awesome.

That ending was ballsy! I've never seen a show attempt something like that. To literally leave every character on the floor bleeding out was amazing.
The show and the book share exactly two things: a dome and the names of certain characters. That's it.
