And they also, in this hypothetical world, are not going to exclude gays from the military, restrict abortion, perpetuate the war on drugs, etc

No, they don’t generally believe in passing laws where social pressures could do the job. When word got out about the bakers who wouldn’t bake cakes for gay people, they came under tremendous scrutiny and pressure from the majority of the public. You may think laws are needed, others don’t.
That’s because it’s a relatively new, fringe party that has shown absolutely no skill whatsoever in getting its message out. I don’t see why minorities would have issues with their policies, per se. They’re not anti-immigration, they’re pro-civil rights, etc
King George III is on line 3 for you
Fair enough.
There are degrees of thought in the Libertarian Party just like there are in the Republicans and Democrats. Some want to get rid of the EPA and IRS, true, but I think most want more of a shift of attitude away from the idea that big government can solve all problems. Culture trumps leadership is huge in business and…
Yeah, they have a serious branding problem. Another issue is that they are in between the two major parties and it’s hard to break off support from the left or right since they espouse beliefs that piss off each pole. They don’t have much money, and without money they don’t have power. Little power, and you don’t…
Seems to me libertarianism is about as American as it gets. Socially inclusive yet wanting freedom from overbearing government. Problem is, few people know what the Libertarian Party is about and think it’s some sort of anarchist Republican spin off
Hi, Vladimir! How’s the weather in Moscow?
Let me guess, you consider yourself sophisticated and intelligent and love to call Trump supporters idiots...
I don’t think they can. It looks like he led with his shoulder.
Gotta go to that well as much as possible, eh?
Really? That many stars for such a stupid and overgeneralizing comment? Wow
It’s not about using them to blow stuff up, it’s about punching small holes in delicate electronics. Instead of using several surface-to-air missiles to shoot down an incoming cruise missile, a ship could use a laser to burn a hole in the guidance module, rendering it useless. Same with aircraft. They are extremely…
Read the article. Make lasers efficient and you don’t have to maintain a huge store of missiles and other ammo. It’ll be cheaper in the long run, and more precise
It’s not that great. Hour plus waits for meals, or 6+ hour waits for liberty launches at anchor are common
Not to mention stuff breaks, surfaces have to have rust removed and be repainted, etc. There’s a lot of stuff that goes down the carrier could do without if operations required it, but they like to keep them as operational as possible.
So does the NCAA suspend players for that or do they leave it up to the schools?
That doesn’t really mean anything, small sample size and all
I thought the “Cardinals of the NFL” were, well, the Cardinals
