Funny how a lot of people think Trump will be able to ruin the economy if he’s elected, but with Sanders or Clinton it’s “Oh it’s Congress that controls the budget”. Already hedging their bets...

I love the music, it’s like an 80's action montage
Apparently not
Except she’s pretty clearly not
The most we had in-country in a single year was 536,000 in 1968. http://www.americanwarlibrary.com/vietnam/vwatl.…
You don’t think we actually expected them to pay for their hardware, do you? No, most of what NATO gave them was ‘donated’. Who the hell knows what they’ve done with the billions of cash we’ve given them
Mostly small arms and Humvees with a few MRAPs. Nothing to write home about. Most of the heavy stuff is old Soviet gear
Damn, I went to middle school with this guy at the Albuquerque Academy. There were three of us Who hung out together, playing D&D at lunch, arguing over Commodore 64 versus the Adam (Joe had an Adam), etc. Rest in Peace old friend.
You can’t get Mars bars in America anymore? I haven’t looked for one in years but they used to be all over the place
The problem with that is infielders are almost universally taught the if the 3rd baseman can get it, he has priority as he’s moving toward first base, making the throw much easier. Expecting them to make that snap decision to go against the norm is probably not realistic. I suppose they could have planned it…
I think it was more that the aggressiveness forced Duda to act quickly, increasing the chance of an error. If this was Game 7, maybe not a good idea, but even if it failed the Royals would still be up 3-2 and going back to KC. Why not be aggressive and try to make something happen and end it tonight?
I remember when we won in 1985 I was 12. It was cool, but it didn’t occur to me to really appreciate it (what 12 year old really appreciates anything). In fact, none of my favorite teams from any sport had won since then. Until now. Wow, just wow. I guess the positive side of liking a perennially crappy team is that…
Yes we did. Remember Khobar Towers? We’ve had a significant presence since the first Gulf War
I know, but I was being magnanimous
Sorry about your Mets, but it’s not over yet
The best hair won
They were right
Probably because of the risk of a school bus filled willed Afghan kids just happening to stop by for a field trip to said mountain
I had just graduated OTS in early 2001 and my first assignment was at Edwards AFB. There I was making the long drive in for my first day, when off to my right I see a really weird pudgy-looking thing come in and land. Turns out it was an X-38 on a flight test. Heck of a way to start a career.
You sound like fun
