I think I read somewhere that it is supposed to be heat shielding. Like, he runs so fast, that the friction of the air would burn a normal suit. And the piano wire is keeping the suit together.

The black and silver makes sense in this continuity and context. They showed the same suit in Man of Steel (and I want to say BvS as well).
