But she’s really not though. Much like Phyllis Schlafly, if she were really the wife she claimed to be, she’d be at home 24/7 with no job and no other reason to live than her husband, kids, and religion while obeying his every command.

True, she’s directed a number of beloved indie films, but they said (correctly) that it was her “highest profile directing gig to date.”

Unless you’re Christian Bale...

It all depends on your frame of reference. Every car on Earth is racking up 1.6 million miles every day as if you use the sun as reference. If you measure based on the galactic central point, it’s more like 12 million miles a day.

Man, fuck those review-bombing shitwizards. How are people mistaking a year-old $30 indie VR game for a two-week-old FREE-TO-PLAY AAA FPS? Nevermind the fact that anybody with any sense knows it’s not going to be on Steam.

I deeply regret this mistake and have fixed the post to include the sequel. I’m sorry about this and I’ll be more careful in the future to respect the Wall Street Ninja franchise.

Hillsong must have creamed themselves when they got their own Tom Cruise.

what? do you expect him to leave or critique the new hip super church for cool celebrities? how dare you!

It’s also telling that he’s equating LGBT lifestyles (which I don’t hold in a negative light and should not be considered sinful) with divorce, which is generally regarded as a negative and/or sinful thing. Just to be clear, I’m not saying that people shouldn’t be allowed to get a divorce, or that it’s not sometimes

Oh, I’m sure Hillsong is just as accepting of gays as it is of divorced heterosexuals. Totally sure. Like, super super sure.

I think the idea is that the church considers both divorce and being gay sins, but it will still welcome both divorced and gay people. Of course, that still means that Page was right, and the church thinks gay people are sinful.

Nah, but see, he SAYS it’s not unwelcome to LGBT people despite the church saying “LGBT can’t be spiritual leaders”. Surely there’s nothing more welcoming than “you can’t be a good Christian leader because of what God made you.” Can’t you just feel God’s love radiating from that homophobia? Ahhhhh, relaxing.

So I’m not shocked at all that the response doesn’t include any real denial of Page’s criticism.

This is hyper capitalism at its core. The executives that (basically) do nothing except focus test everything and make it as bland as possible (and then complain when things don’t meet extremely unrealistic sales expectations, either due to 1) being bland/bad, 2) not enough development time/low budget/crunch, 3)

I think 2017 is actually a pretty good candidate. Wonder Woman, Logan, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok. Plus Lego Batman, and if you want to think of Guardians as a superhero thing, I think the second one is actually a bit better than the first. Not only are those movies all at least good, it covers so many

Depending on how much folks like Black Panther and Infinity War, I’d say that 2018 is pretty strong. Having said that 2014 is probably the right answer, even allowing for iffy Amazing Spider-Man 2. I feel that film would have worked better without the unnecessary Harry Osborn stuff and maybe not making Electro such a

Here’s a question (perhaps to be answered after four more columns): What was the best year for superhero movies? Because GotG and Winter Soldier, plus Big Hero Six, make 2014 a pretty strong contender. I’d say the action scenes in Winter Soldier are the best of any Marvel movie. But I guess 2018 is solid too.

Aside from Valve stuff, anything exclusive to Steam is only exclusive to Steam because it’s the only platform the developer themselves bothered to put it on. Not because they were paid by Steam to make it exclusive.

To be fair, wasn’t one of the selling points for Epic’s store supposed to be that they curated their content so that things like this wouldn’t happen? And in the meantime, nobody who bought it there would know what was going on unless they looked elsewhere since Epic doesn’t have community sections.

I think the worst thing about Epic in this whole situation is another light being shone onto the fact that their storefront doesn’t have forums.
