I never do extra work anymore because the bosses come to expect it.

It’s posts like this that make me suspect that you are Julian Day, the Calendar Man!

No official premiere date has been set as of this writing, but The Penguin is set to debut on Max sometime this fall.”

watching this teaser I was thinking: does Clancy Brown know the moment he shows up onscreen a decent chunk of the audience will go “aw hell yeah”?

I always assumed the 2nd movie would be named “Spaceballs III: The Search For Spaceballs 2: The Search For More Money”

The Gizmodo article also fucked this up. I know the original is older than the authors here, but it still seems like they should have seen it if they are going to write articles about it.

Thank you. I was looking to see if someone referenced this. It would seem to be the logical name for the sequel.

When you become the butt of your own joke.

Yeah, is not like Travis Kelse is an introverted, delicate flower.

Why wouldn’t she have all her partners sign an NDA though?  It was so effective I had no idea she’d had such a long relationship.  Which is kind of amazing because I would think dealing with her world would be just exhausting after 2 days.

You will not escape her shadow; we do not recommend you try.

I enjoyed this article, and I would like to see more like it in the future.

something new

It is October 2019. I am reading a news story about how “Baby It’s Cold Outside” is bad. They say there is a new version by John Legend and Kelly Clarkson.

It ticks all the boxes, doesn’t it? Lazy, out-of-date, out-of-touch, completely lacking in nuance, yet presenting itself so confidently.

Easy to see a pattern when you create it. Or have you forgotten the discourse around:

Ooh, I have a few!

“Baby It’s Cold Outside” is a sex assault song.

this is the most dire thing I’ve read on post-kinja avclub, which is quite an achievement. much like chemical warfare was an achievement.

Unfortunately, the show is a music rights nightmare, so it’s never been on streaming. I loved it, personally. It’s the main reason why I’m STILL not used to skinny Drew.
