Can’t wait for Square to spend so much time on a remake that it has no way to make back the money it lost on development, praise its sales, and then can another Western dev as a reason for its ‘underperformance’, probably Eidos Montreal after Mankind Divided.

Oh whatever. It’ll suck ass, like most vaporware projects that are mocked up to help with company PR than rushed into production after announcement.

In house + Nomura = disaster. I’m pretty amazed that SE still hasn’t figured out that this guy is bungling his way through their cash and messing up everything he touches.

Sweet should only add 5 years to the development time, haha do they have any good studios left they can shut down in the in between time?

“Why is Square Enix no longer working with external studio CyberConnect2"

They were working too fast for Nomura, he wanted to spend another 2 year just working on a new all zipper alt costume for Cloud. So the game was brought in-house to slow things down.

And that explains why the game won’t release in the next 3 years. Seriously, Nomura shouldn’t be allowed to direct games anymore. He does not know how to manage efficient production.

Cc2 was going too fast. They showed SE the master disc, which made management furious. TOO SOON!

Final Fantasy VII Remake is being headed up by Tetsuya Nomura. Heh.

with production and quality in mind

The Internet is always simultaneously the apex and nadir of humanity, but rarely at the exact same time.

KIT’s Ian “Vandy” Davis, who was in charge of the Tekken setups a Combo Breaker has already come out with a statement about this.

framerate drops are the same for both players, he got his ass handed and couldn’t believe he was getting destroyed, so he checked the resolution.

Shouldnt have been able to do that without judges permission. Also, common courtesy would dictate that he should have at least asked his opponent if she minded. Poor sport, bad player.

Digital Foundry will be all over it with a comparison video. I got my doubts that this suffers frame drops. The other fighting games this gen that have used Unreal (both 3 and 4) have performed just fine at 60fps and 1080p, and Namco’s fighting game team isn’t exactly known for releasing games with shoddy performance.

I’ve never paid attention to the pro Tekken scene, but Tanukana is awesome. She’s had an interesting day for sure.

Okay, I’ve never heard of her before today’s 2 articles, nor do I know anything about competitive Tekken, but she is now my favorite and I want her to win everything

“The other player was better than me.”

I can empathize.
