She called them out by name at an awards show, a pretty public affair.
Rather than save an aging brand that belongs to a major corporation and reaches an ever smaller audience, using their money and influence to start up a non-profit that makes classic important movies that are overlooked by profit focused corporations available to a wide audience through quality streaming and other…
Xbox Studios head Matt Booty mentioned in a heavily redacted 2019 email that Microsoft could try to “spend Sony out of business.” “If we think that video game content matters in 10 years, we might look back and say, ‘Totally would have been worth it to lose $2B or @3B in 2020 to avoid a situation where Tencent,…
This show will be missed. Not by me.
Judging by the bloopers and the behind the scenes, Breaking Bad looked like a really fun set to be on. Same with Hannibal. It seems the darker shows foster the more lighthearted behind the scenes working environments, perhaps out of necessity given the material.
The first item alone is a death sentence. Backed up with the assessment of other studios (Bungie, LMAO), it’s going to be quite hard to convince any judge or regulator that your goal isn’t monopoly.
Single studio that makes a single game vs merger of two very large publishers. There’s not really any real antitrust concern around Sony owning Bungie, any more than there was when Microsoft acquired Obsidian or Double Fine.

Yeah. I read the Vulture article first, and it...colored my perceptions of this one, shall we say. Because now it just looks like a whole bunch of fiddly extra work that doesn’t add much getting dumped into everyone’s laps.
That all sounds a lot more like some theaters were shipped an incomplete version of the film, and now that people have noticed they’re trying to spin it as something deliberate.
It breaks my heart still that this show was cancelled. It was SO funny. They didn’t give it enough marketing.
That’s shifting the goalposts. They engaged you on your point and you move right along to another instead of dealing with their arguments.
If you start looking for a ten year old that wants sweet romance you end up on a list
It’s wild how the Extremely Online Left basically became the Joe Rogan Vaccines of AI art because the first 15 minutes of narrative around the technology that turned out to be objectively wrong. lmao
But her point is that valuable learning experiences happen in all sorts of games that are not primarily marketed as educational, and these are not used in schools.
If she’s determined to prove something, I’d be worried about confirmation bias.
