Of course it’s subjective and, therefore, debatable. But I don’t think there’s any argument that the best QB of that generation is either Brady or Manning. Manning is probably the (slightly) more talented QB. But Brady managed to win many more games big games, so that moves him up in my opinion. Knowing what we know

There’s a big difference between believing someone is guily of something based on a failed drug test and the Wells Report

He is at the end of his career. He doesn’t have to still be the best at his position to be considered the greatest of his generation. There’s a debate to be had about Peyton (who is a better QB), but I’ll take the 6 Super Bowl appearances and 4 wins.

Brady and the NFLPA have good arguments that the NFL didn’t adhere to the CBA. For example, that the article they are trying to punish him under applies to teams, not players and, therefore, that he didn’t have notice that he could be punished by his employer (the NFL) under it.

Brady. The NFLPA is his lawyer in this. Lawyers have to bring all settlement offers to their clients and let their clients decide whether or not to accept

I’m sure Greg appreciates you explaining all of this to him, but did you even read this fucking post? Where in it does he argue that a president can just do stuff? That isn’t even implicit in what he said. And the condescending “your heart’s in the right place” is great. I’m guessing you’re a white man, even more

You’re clearly missing the fucking point, which is that Bernie, regardless of how great he is on some issues, should be called out for inadequately addressing the issue of white supremacy, and that his notion that a rising economic tide is an adequate response to it.

And no one is saying people never called it Worm Town, just that no one has ever heard it called that outside of the brewery (or former head shop)

The Woo isn’t a new thing marketers came up with. My friends and I were calling it that in high school in the 90s.

Yeah, but when they all tons of money, eating the $600 under the circumstances (of him not making it because of a friend’s death), or at least not making a big deal about it, seems like the way to go

I’ve heard “War Town,” but not “Wormtown” outside of the head shop that was there in my high school days (Wormtown Trading Co.) and now the brewery. The Woo is the most common nickname I know of

As a Worcester native, I assume you’re being tongue-in-cheek when you refer to its famous amiability

Dennis Eckersley uses lettuce as well, so it may not be exclusively a hockey term

Yeah, the fact that he had adverse rulings from Goodell (x2) and now lost a venue determination is surely evidence of his claim’s lack of merit

As a Patriots fan, I am downright gleeful at this news. Brady isn’t going to miss a game, this season or any other, and Goodell continues to double down on his awful decision-making. Goodell really created an impossible situation for himself with this, which he somehow manages to do literally every single time he has

Agreed, but with suspension ultimately being thrown out by court

Don’t forget the draft picks

You’re so fucking stupid

Wrong. The NFL will not reduce the suspension to 0 games, so they will go to court, Brady will get an injunction and not miss any of this season, and will eventually get the suspension thrown out in court

Man, bear videos are the best videos
