I’m annoyed because he SHOULD have won for Wolf of Wallstreet. His performance in that film was brilliant and showed incredible range as an actor. His performance in Revenant is great for what it is - but the part didn’t require him to show much beyond physical suffering. I hate when we reward actors for hurting…

They look like the tattoos all the monks have in Myanmar, so I wouldn’t be surprised. I can’t see a close enough photo to be sure, but I looked at a fair few traditional tattoo designs when I was getting my last tattoo in Yangon.

Just to say the Student Union at Oxford is actually an intensely, intensely serious thing and a very well established starting point for a huge percentage of future UK politicians. WomCam and NUS are also very high profile, to the point that both women here are as recognizable in name as any of the university…
