I’ve never read the comics and it took me several episodes to figure out that this was a show about vampires. What I’m confused about is...is the preacher possessed by a vampire but able to function normally? How is he able to use the vampire power to serve God? Is he possessed by something else?

I really liked the character, but was I the only one who got a terrifying giddiness out of how quiet he was when he ran or landed? It was like a real panther. For some reason, that stood out to me.
