The older ones were a thing. The F-250, though, is not a thing by a long shot.
I’ve never seen any of those VWs in the flesh, other than maybe one or two Dacon 180S in my childhood, even though I live in São Paulo City where those custom cars were created. I think those old VWs look good but their exhaust notes sound awful to me.
