Umm, isn’t the vertical stab the one that controls the plane to go up or down and the horizontal stab the one that makes it go left and right? Or they’re named based on their actual shape and position on the aircraft, like the vertical stabilizer sits vertically but it controls the jet horizontally? I’m confused.

The LA Times article said the the driver struck the vertical stabilizer at the tail section. Yikes, what a shitty way to die.

I believe that striking a fighter jet with a car must be very close to hit a semi from behind, with the decapitation effect and such. Horrific injuries. Now I’m curious to know why they fled the cops.

I hope this is the Model 3 as I lay in sadness of being fooled by that fake-ass Model X pre-production unit people were sharing today as the real thing. :(
