This is the comment I was looking for. I don’t doubt there are others expressing the same thing, because once you read that they are still getting paid 1.5x their normal rate for overtime instead of double, it’s really hard to feel any sympathy for them.

Seems like the real solution to all of this is uniforms! Everyone looks the same, it’s not distracting, and kids who come from families that don’t have as much money aren’t shamed because they aren’t wearing expensive name brands.
