Except what this site has is not necessarily illegal content, and some woman bitching that she never said it was ok to put her photo up there doesn't prove it's illegality.

Yeah it doesn't work that way when there is no commercial use of the image. I can take a picture of someone and post it anywhere I want on the web without legal repercussions, it doesn't matter if the subject gave me permission or not.

Body shaming and style shaming are not the same thing. No one is making fun of her weight or figure, they are making fun of her atrocious style.

Yeah some of us have been celebrating Christmas for many, many years, and as such, it's become pretty goddamn boring. Reading about Christmas-related anything is even more boring.

Haha, well, kinda, except most of the time spent to make it is time you are actually spending doing something else. But yeah, there are some lost opportunity costs there.

Yeah, it's not expensive as hell at all. Once one person has a healthy SCOBY, they can make their own (and give bits to friends) and basically keep making it for the cost of the tea or whatever you ferment with it forever. I know people who have been using the same SCOBY for years.

Yeah I don't get the whole complaint about it being expensive. It's cheap as hell to make, and you can share it over and over with friends so they can ferment their own.

Yep, not even sure why you are stepping in here, but thanks for giving me the opportunity to tell you to go fuck yourself!

You could easily contact people who sign up for a facebook group. I didn't think a petition was so easy, I know they allow people to add emails/address info, but I didn't think you had to, and you would still have to email each individual. Mass message to a facebook group would be easy though.

Oh for fucks' sake. Taking offense to a word like that is so fuckin retarded. Please complain about my use of 'retarded' now, so I can laugh that people like you gripe about totally inconsequential shit on the internet.

Nope, out of ideas, I suggested facebook groups and that's all I have as far as online organization. I'd actually suggest trying to hit Fox or whomever in the wallet, by getting people to boycott advertisers, since that actually has the chance of making them give a fuck, but good luck getting that to somehow work with

You're way too defensive. Go ahead, do your petition, whatever makes you feel warm and fuzzy.

If this was the MTA I'd just sit on your damn bag or move it myself. Hogging seats is not tolerated. Like your personal space? Take a fuckin cab.

I'm not knocking your cause, just putting it out there that online petitions are worthless and you'd be better off attacking this from another angle. Hell, even online groups on facebook get more press and therefore more traction that petitions.

Yes because online petitions are so effective... they are nothing but a cheap way for someone to feel good about themselves after they take 5 seconds out of their day to sign a petition that no one will even read or consider.

Yeah of course, but if I play word association and 'Minnesota' comes up, then my first response is going to be Bachmann. You guys need a new PR campaign!

Because your most famous local politician is Michelle Bachmann? Minnesota can't be all that great when you have that kind of home-brewed cray-cray.

Ok that's just weird. You've been married for how long now?

Seems to me you need to acquaint yourself with what an actor or actress does in the real world.

His campaign site is pretty amazing. He makes some really compelling arguments in the many, many blog posts he's made for the past 8 months or so, and also donated quite a bit of money to animal-based non-profits in lieu of accepting campaign donations.
