NYT ran a piece on it last year... given when it was written he was trying to come for Baz Lurhman. It reads pretty much like how a racist would write a hip-hop screenplay. Plenty a dick and ho references, horrible attempts of trying to capture “street” language and violence.

His record could be spot clean and that would not disprove that he’s flaming racist. It’s the institution the way it approaches policing black communities that is racist.

There are great public servants out there but their corrupt union bosses make sure that good voices get drowned out.
