Nikka and Hibiki are my go to Japanese Whiskeys at the moment. Regardless, thanks for writing this as I’m still learning the tastes and aromas and what I want out a Japanese whiskey. Also this was published just in time for me as I’m attending “Way of Whiskey” at the Japan Society tomorrow evening.

Bruce is a very sweet guy and also plays in some awesome Metal bands; Yakuza and Corrections House.

If they’re playing in your neck of the woods I highly recommend you see them live. Not too often you get to see a metal band that actually look like they’re enjoying their-selves onstage as much a MM does.

This reminds me that I need to read his book, I’ve always wanted to get inside Dan’s head to see why Dan is the way he is.

I just got back last night from two weeks over there and I feel very fortunate to have been able to experience the Cherry Blossoms after what was a cold and wet start to my adventure. So pretty.
