We will just have to disagree. I think that single payer can work in the immediate future. I think that gun control can be implemented. We just need to elect the political leaders who have the stomach to make these things happen.

I opted to dismiss a comment containing a counterpoint to my point so as to avoid giving them any more stars, but I shall acknowledge the crux of their argument and explain why it sucks (and I’ll even reword to make it sound nicer)

It is not “reverse discrimination” to hire women into roles they’re not qualified for (and thus doomed to fail in) because you want to fuck them. It is just discrimination, and it’s a form of sexual harassment as well.

Why exactly would the gender ratio of a company’s customer base be the standard to which to compare the gender ratio of their employees? Other game companies, other tech companies, and the population as a whole are more relevant comparisons.

Gee, it’s funny... you don’t see a lot of rugged survalists living in hostile alien environments who manage to have runway model figures, pristine moisturized skin, fashionably tousled hair, and glossy pink lipstick...
