I was a teen in the 70s, and now I watch movies and TV from then and think how pretty the makeup was, but also how obvious it was, in a different way from the 60s or 80s. Definite blush, colored frosty eyeshadows, juicy lips and lots of spidery lashes. No visible liner.

You know, I felt bad for thinking “Of course the girls from Portland don’t wear any make-up and have weird bangs and a Goodwill sweater”. Felt really bad then told myself they were still very pretty women. Then I read what they said and I don’t feel so bad.

I don’t wanna sound like a dick, but that combined with her little friendo’s “maybe more like someone from the East Coast” leads me to believe that people in Portland are just as fucking catty and bitchy as people everywhere else, no matter how many fucking birds they put on it.

I understand that some girls want to hide skin problems or they use makeup as an accessory, but I usually feel that women should wear less.
