I bought a warranty for 1 year on my 03 XC70 for 500 and I'm glad I did. An ABS sensor went a week after purchase and then the power steering pump exploded (albeit, while doing snow donuts). I paid 100 dollars for both to be fixed. Without the warranty, I would've been out 600 bucks.
