4 years old? I call bullshit.

If you’re looking to place blame, it’s a little complicated figuring out where to place it. The film didn’t create Mammy, the book did. The book takes place during a civil war about slavery and includes fictional characters, but they’re based on real life figures of that time.

I love Halt and Catch Fire (both) so much I sometimes just play it on YouTube.

LOL, okay whatever Oprah.

You know, I just wrote this whole big long response to you with all kinds of examples to explain why what you’re saying makes no sense. But then I realize you choose not to see what’s in front of you on purpose, so I deleted it.

OK that’s nice you found some things, but here’s my point:

You can’t be serious. They show *just* enough about police attacks that they can’t be accused of not covering it at all. When they cover it, it’s usually related to one of their own correspondents.

I believe that! It’s funny how people with such libertarian views about the government infringing on their rights are totally okay with thugs who are armed to the teeth like they’re in combat, shoving people around for peacefully protesting. But hypocrites are usually completely unaware of their own hypocrisy.

One of the most disturbing things about this whole nightmare is how you see what’s going on in the streets with police attacking peaceful citizens, unprovoked, on Instagram and Twitter, and then you turn on CNN or MSNBC and you see nothing but stories about looting.

I think that’s a thoughtful way to look at it, but with what we’ve seen on Twitter (NOT on CNN or MSNBC - all they care about is looting or when their own correspondents get hit) over the last few days, to see how pumped up these cops are to assault people just walking down the street minding their own business,

Cop attacks citizen who is not breaking the law like stormtrooper.

Cops are mostly racist thugs who got into law enforcement so they can fuck with people without any consequences.

It’s not enough. I hold those officers who arrested him personally responsible. I don’t care if they were ordered to do it.

Well while we’re baring our souls, I might as well add that I’ve totally lost the ability to open those cream cartons where you have to fold back the flaps. It used to be second nature, like tying a shoe. But now I can only fuss and fight with the little flaps until they are a mangled misshapened mess.

I’m torn about this. He’s dangerous, and his tweets instigate violence and push conspiracy theories, and well I just hate him SO MUCH!

True. Anytime he makes an accusation about anything, assume it’s because he’s guilty of it.

“Fuck Jimmy Fallon” is something I regularly yell at the tv when I happen to see an ad for the Tonight Show. I’m not a fan, and yeah I hold people like him personally responsible for President Asshole.

John Wayne actually got a lot of heat for that interview at the time, so when it resurfaced last year it was just round two.

I’m so confused by your comment. Are you complaining about TCM movies, or the people who watch them, or anyone in this age bracket, or Fred Astaire, or or all of the above? They play plenty of Woody Allen movies, and I don’t think that’s changed, so I don’t get that either.

Will do! If I don't follow up it's just means I stuck my head in the oven after episode 4.
