Watched the bodycam. If he was white, they wouldn’t have shot him, which I think ultimately is why people in the community are upset.

What’s worse is that he is clearly implying that her district is a gang-ridden, violent, reactionary atmosphere. It’s not. Maxine has repeatedly been elected to the 43rd District because she has kept it safe and clean. The schools are some of the best in California as well.
