Same applies to Travis' ex-wife in FTWD. She was an advanced grad student but for all intents and purposes was the indispensible resident medic. And, btw, the gov't doc conscripted her, believing their need for her trumped that of her family and community.

RE " it is just too tedious now to watch."
And yet, you do. And you participate in this forum. What makes you keep coming back for more? (I'm not asking in a snarky way.)

Guffaw!

Give Chris Hardwick his due for the nut allergy joke.

Everyone needs to learn to fight zombies and to defend themselves against malefactor humans. To that end, Rosita was teaching Denise to fight, just as Fr. Gabriel and Eugene were taught. Problem here was: Fr. G. and E. were deemed sufficiently trained as fighters to go on patrols, but both Daryl and Rosita felt Denise

The orange backpack, the zombie caught on the ponzi stick just outside Alexandria's walls, the helmet-clad zombie, the word "Hush" written repeatedly all over the wall in the apothecary's back room, and Rosita's calling, "Clear", when it was safe for Denise to enter the pharmacy were all callbacks to the episode

Not even one dingleberry?

Yes, I agree. But Carol's leaving a letter for Tobin rather than someone she's really close with (like Daryl, Maggie, or Rick) exemplifies TWD's writers' tendency to emphasize parallel plot developments, symbolic gestures, and "shorthand", at the expense of having characters do what real-life people would do. The

Hence, the explanation for why preggers Maggie will likely end up at Hilltop.

No. It bites! :)

Carol's letter to Tobin parallels Enid's letter to Carl. And like Enid, Carol will show up again.

We already got a hint of why Dwight's face was burnt, last episode, when Shell explained to Maggie how/why the tip of Shell's finger had been amputated.

I also liked the delivery but was super-pissed at her attitude. As Alexandria's only medical professional, no way should Denise have been out there, much less doing risky things that potentially jeopardized the entire community by jeopardizing her.

Both are big. (Not sure what size Dwight's D was, though.)

Think Eugene applied - and took to a new level - lessons learned from peeping on Rosita and Abraham?

Glad Rosita's trying to move on. But Spencer? He's eye candy, but almost as far below her level as Eugene.

I thought Denise's death was devastating. Worse than her not yet having told Tara she loves her, Denise was Alexandria's only doctor and shrink. Carol's got some nursing skills, but with her having absconded, Alexandria's now dangerously short of healthcare professionals.

Denise gave the impression Tara was on a supply run.

Denise got shot in the eye, mid-sentence (while talking with Rosita and Daryl) on the road, signalling the first round in a sneak attack from Negan's group. Reminds me of that hillbilly (Axel)'s getting shot in the head, mid-sentence (while talking with Carol) at the prison, signalling the first round in a sneak

Reminded me of Rick's biting out that goon's neck, in Season 5, but unlike Rick (who goes for the jugular), Eugene's a "bottom feeder".
