As I wrote above, I see a closer parallel between Morgan-not-wanting-to-kill-Wolves and Herschel-hiding-and-feeding-walkers-in-the-barn. Both sought to redeem or cure the irredeemable/incurable.

Walkers can see: they're attracted to fire (which is why I wanted someone to snatch and shut Eugene's cigarette lighter). Also, Enid alluded to their ability to see when she said she and Glenn could use the balloons to distract them. So did Rick and Jessie, when they told Sam to close the blinds.

Kirkman also said one would need to get fresh zombie guts regularly, implying the source is hard to come by. Whatta maroon!

And Chris Hardwick heartily, promptly disagreed with Kirkman's lame excuses.

Latecomer here. Binge-watching to catch up. Interesting premise, but the show's weirdly and annoyingly executed in some parts. In addition to those Sonia already mentioned:

@Cinder: Close, but not quite right. Carol specifically told Sam she'd let the "monsters" get him. She didn't specify walkers. So Sam isn't quite sure who/what said monsters are.
