Similar idea with my Garmin watch. I was mountain biking, and a couple of very rocky sections convinced my watch I had crashed. I hadn’t, but my wife still got a couple of texts telling of my doom, followed immediately by another basically saying, "j/k he's good".

She wasn’t driving a BMW. Who knows what would have happened if she did?

I think similar things happen all over the world.  And there are plenty in the US that admire her, including me.  I'm a population of any reality size there will be a wide range of viewpoints.  This is not surprising.
