Oh, yeah, I forgot about that...

“You should fill your yard up with busted-up Jeeps. The neighbors love it, and nothing can go wrong.”

Pretty sure that’s Calvin Coolidge.

I know 95% is an impressive technical achievement, but that needs to be higher.  Let us consider another statement, and tell me how comfortable you would be:  “95% of the air around you contains no bullets headed in your direction”.

And I assume you offered your resignation? If not, you should of.

Denzel is one of those people who, if I ever had the chance at a real conversation with him, I’d feel compelled to take notes.  And actually review them later, because there would be lots of good stuff.

In unrelated news, Spirit is discontinuing its in-flight meal test program.

Agreed, especially on the CEL. I did that once, not to fool anyone, but as what seemed like a reasonable follow-up to a repair. About a week before I planned to get the inspection, the CEL pops on. I track down the problem (a curious buildup on the throttle body plate that wasn’t allowing it to fully close), fix it,

That’s an interesting take.  I didn’t consider that.  My initial thought was, “hey, there really are wrinkles on my brain!”  Because when I saw this my eyes rolled so hard that I could see them.

That’s kind of impressive, imho. It’s a bit of a jarring disconnect, and not the clearest video, but I don’t see a single drop of gas from the either part of the disconnected hose. Very cool.

Not even about drugs and self-medicating?

I don’t envy the rich, powerful, or attractive.  I envy people that can sleep on flights.

Good.  Want to impersonate a cop?  Get therapy.

“But Wade could not explain how Martin ended up in his home in the middle of the night with a bullet to his head. In a 3:01 a.m. call to 911, Wade claimed to have heard a gunshot during the bash and found Martin dead shortly after the homeowner returned from fishing. In the middle of the night. On his daughter’s

Wait, so there’s “In case I screw over my employer and they sue me into oblivion” insurance? Questions: Does one get this generally as a matter of principle, or is it only if you’re planning to screw over your employer? Does the insurer have to review and approve said screwing plan? Do they conduct a post-screwing and

From the top GIF, it’s amazing how cleanly the front was severed. Sure, the bits got scattered quite a ways, but it was just sliced right off while the remaining car barely moved— maybe bumped about a foot to the side? Granted, to the driver being bumped a foot to the side at 120MPH is quite noticeable, but it was a

That’s very much how I look at it.  I knew a lady that said she left everything to God.  Everything.  What route to take, what clothes to buy, everything.  I have to think that there are many, many questions to which God would reply, “It mattereth not”.

The residents will tear down the walls for you so they can get out and destroy that damn vuvuzela.

I think of engine shrouds similarly.  Maybe they're essential somehow, but I don't see it.  It's not like a visible engine is somehow the same as being skinless, with exposed muscles, fat, veins, etc.

How long does it take to tell if the body camera was on? Seems like it should be easy... “Hey, body cam admin human, do we have footage of Ofc. X at time Y?” “Hang on, gimme a minute...” <a minute passes> “<Yes|No>, we do<|n’t>.  “Cool, thanks.”
