Throwing it out there, Disney+ is going to be fine. Disney Lifers from the era of the real Magic Kingdom (15-20 years ago) will die taking their grandkids to Star Wars World.

I read about how when they make it “live action” they no longer have to pay the original animators residuals, even if it is a shot for shot recreation or uses lines the animator came up with.

I guess for brand-extending purposes they need to at least create an appearance of doing something fresh.
