I have one as well. It was $700.00, but worth every penny. It easily gets over 600 degrees, holds heat well, doesn't have "hot spots" and is durable. You really can't go wrong with Weber. I've had a 310 for the last 5-6 years and while it's definitely showing some wear and tear, it's held together like a champ and grills wonderfully.
Yes, I know there's a lipstick stain on it. But this mug makes me happy each morning... Oh, and drinking coffee makes me feel like I received a 1-up.
