Burnout is my absolute favorite racing series. I vividly remember buying part 1 on gamecube and just having a blast. Paradise really was perfection

Now playing

I propose that this kids head is now a planet.

Always enjoy a good Harriot piece.

How dare they almost kill Vic Romano!

I don’t understand why you’re yelling at me. I emphatically stated that you’re not racist. I mean, I really tried to drive the point home, just so nobody could possibly get confused.

Spoiler alert for his post down thread: He is.

Are they even explicit about the character’s ethnicity in the show? I know the guy who did the English dub for Jet was a Black man, but honestly, does it matter? It seemed like in the show a lot of things about Earth were left in the past, especially since it is all chewed up in the Bebop Universe, and people cared

I will not be satisfied until they find someone who was literally born on Ganymede and is capable of growing facial hair across his cheekbones to play Jet Black.

Its amazing because I always saw Jet as black? Given the various tropes used in Cowboy Beebop, Jet has all the hallmarks of a black character. You’re probably upset that Faye’s boobs won’t go bouncing all over the place too.

Who cares? Aside from hyperventilating incels, that is?

One thing we can be sure is that he’s not racist, because he loudly and insistently reports on all topics about black people in media that he’s not racist, and you can’t prove that he is. And he wouldn’t say that sort of stuff —again, on all topics about black people— if he actually was racist.

It must be fun for you to be this angry at diversity. You should tell this to Samuel L Jackson for playing Nick Fury or Jason Mamoa for playing Aquaman. In person to their faces.

For someone who self-admittedly can’t remember the name of a major character in Cowboy Bebop, you sure seem angry about this adaptation of Cowboy Bebop.

Why? Why do you care? It’s a made up space ship show about made up space ship people, on a made up space ship. What difference does it make if they cast actors that don’t necessarily look like the made up cartoon space ship people for the real life made up space ship people?

If the show is good, the show is good. If

“Its like a fucking law now or something, they just cant adapt something and leave ALL of it intact, AS IS.”

Would have been nice if you explained what he was a suspect for?

Ah, my mistake, I didn’t realize that “maybe ever” had such a short shelf life.

Things to add to the list of things never explicitly condemned by Jesus: cannibalism, pedophilia, necrophilia, socialism, communism.
